SMALL AND DARK? MAKE IT EVEN DARKER.

I have always been a fan of choosing dark colours for tiny rooms - be it a small kitchen, pint-sized entry or a cramped powder room. I find it makes the boundaries somehow disappear, it just saturates the room, creates drama and makes it feel more spacious.

Currently, just my kitchen is painted a dark charcoal - ceilings and all, but I have been toying with the idea of painting my bathroom black; both walls and ceiling and even selecting a black linen shower curtain to complete the look.

The images below show a selection of fabulous black bathrooms where homeowners and designers have taken the plunge and created gorgeous little spaces...

So, why stick to all white? The black in these photos creates a glamorous and sophisticated backdrop - I love the look!
